Complete FTP client with interesting features
Wise-FTP is a complete FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client with which you can easily manage your file transfers on the net.
The program features an original blueish double-pane interface with support for drag and drop that lets you edit files and folders directly on the remote server. Other interesting features are support for simultaneous file transfers, folder syncing and a task planner. Wise-FTP supports secure connections via SFTP as well, and is able to reconnect automatically when the connection is lost. The program includes a handy FTP site manager with a bunch of public FTP servers already configured and ready to be used.
Apart from these features, the only outstanding characteristic of Wise FTP is its built-in editor, which enables you to edit files on a remote system in real-time. Another nice touch is that there is a scheduler which you can use to automate transfers while away from your PC.
In all, there's nothing particularly remarkable about Wise FTP although it would probably be a good start for newcomers to FTP file transfers, thanks to its user-friendly interface.
